Individual sessions and couples therapy sessions cost $240, which may be subject to a rebate (please refer to information about rebates below).

Rebates are available for Psychology sessions through Medicare and some private health fund providers. If you are seeking a rebate through a private health fund, please check with your provider to determine if Counselling Psychology services are covered.

Rebates from Medicare require a referral from a GP or psychiatrist under the Medicare Better Access Scheme. To access this service, you need to make an appointment with your GP or psychiatrist and they will prepare a Mental Health Care Plan with you. A copy of the plan will be provided to you to take to your first psychology session. After payment is complete, an invoice will be provided that can be used to claim back the rebate yourself, or I can send the rebate to Medicare to be processed on your behalf providing that your personal details are updated.

A Medicare rebate is provided for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The Medicare Rebate for a session with a counselling psychologist is approximately $88.25. If you have any questions about fees and rebates, please do not hesitate to contact me.
